Dr. Sarbast Moslem is the Principal Investigator of VOTE-TRA project, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at University College Dublin (UCD), School of Architecture Planning and Environmental Policy. He earned his Ph.D. in Transport and Vehicle Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2020. His research interests include transport planning; traffic engineering; logistics; supply chain management; soft computing; decision policy; fuzzy set theory; sustainability and citizens science. He is most active and most cited researcher working in the field of urban transport and its MCDM applications. He has been involved in several research projects on national and international level, author and co-author of several conference papers and articles. He has published over 50 papers from the area of his interest. ResearchGate, Google Scholar (H21), his works attracted more than 1300 citations. He is also guest Editor in some international journals in addition to a number of journals and conferences.

  • Best Paper Award form Mathematics Journal, (300 CHF) awarded 2022,.
  • PhD Dissertation Scholarship, from Tempus Public Foundation, (400.000 FT) awarded 2020.
  • Award of Excellence in implementing decision support model for developing public transport system, in International conference on Multiple Criteria Decision Making – awarded 2019.
  • Creative Decision Foundation Support in the International conference on Multiple Criteria Decision Making, 500 Euro awarded 2019.
  • Thank You Plaque in the International Mersin Symposium, awarded 2019
  • Best Paper Award in the International Mediterranean Symposium, awarded 2018.
  • Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship for PhD program, Hungarian Government awarded 2016.
  • Turkish Scholarship for MSc program from Turkish Government, awarded 2013.
